What Is The Best Double Jogging Stroller?
After having a child, many things that were once important to us are often put on the back-burner. Priorities change after having kids, that’s for sure, but that isn’t to say that we must give up all the things that we used to enjoy and love. For me, what I loved was running. I’ve always been a runner, running competitively since age 8 (now at age 27).
When my twins were born, I thought my running days were over. With feeding, changing and work, I hardly even had time to think. That’s when one of my girlfriends pointed me towards “Jogging Strollers”. She told me about how they are made especially with a runner’s preference and the child’s safety in mind. They come equipped with special wheels and shock absorbers she said.
I loved the idea, but worried that it sounded too good to be true. So, that very weekend, she and I took a trip to the local mall (while I left the kids with my mother), where we hit up our local baby specialty store. As soon as we entered we were bombarded with choices. There were more strollers than I could swing a stick at! Needless to say I was a bit overwhelmed.
So, instead of wasting my time trying every one out – I walked to the service counter and asked to speak to a sales-woman. Now she really knew what she was talking about! She was well versed in the many brands and varieties of jogging strollers available, and once she heard that I needed a double, she was sure she knew what I needed. We walked to the back of the store where the BOB jogging strollers were located. And then I saw it, the BOB double jogging stroller. It looked perfect. Sound-solid construction, extra padding, enlarged wheels; what more could I ask for?
But, being me, I needed to test it out. The sales-woman agreed to let me take it home for a 24hr test. After doing so- let me say that I returned to purchase it in less that 3 hours! It was a God send. I now use it all the time. It’s such a smooth ride for my little ones that frequently they even nap while I’m jogging!
Another great feature is how easy it is to push. When you think of strollers, you get an image of some bulky, awkward device, but that couldn’t been further from the BOB. It’s light yet sturdy design makes jogging a breeze! I’d have to give it a 5/5. I’m so glad my girlfriend recommended these to me. I hope you love it as much as I do- I’m sure you will
